Minority Serving Institutions Partnership Program

EM’s Minority Serving Institutions Partnership Program (MSIPP) offers internships to help develop our future workforce in critically important areas of science, engineering, technology, and mathematics (STEM). We invite you to help us tackle our unique and often-unprecedented scientific and technical challenges, which are engaging some of the finest scientists and engineers in the nation. MSIPP summer internships take place at selected DOE national laboratories and last for about 10 weeks. Interns will complete research projects that are relevant to EM’s ongoing mission. Students will also be involved in enrichment activities provided by the host laboratory.

Be enrolled as a undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited Minority Serving Institution (MSI).

A term used to describe colleges and universities that primarily enroll and serve minority populations. These groups can include African Americans, Hispanics, American Indians, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, and Asian Americans.
